Magista: Guild of Scholars

Today, let’s find out what the Magista have to gain from the exploration of the mysteries of the islands floating around the Henakor. This is the second and most erudite of the Guilds of Ilvash.

Magista is a small Guild representing the city’s scholars, scientists, engineers and tinkerers. They are probably the only ones in the city that have a clue about how Qoam manipulation actually works.

Magista is a small Guild representing the city’s scholars, scientists, engineers and tinkerers. They have an obsession with new knowledge and are probably the only ones in the city that have a clue about how Qoam manipulation actually works. Even if they are just a small group made up of oftentimes weirdos, they are highly respected in society.

They have made more discoveries to help society progress and use crystals more effectively than any other group. So, even if sometimes grudgingly, the other Guilds must often accept their expertise and advice to understand the mysteries brought to their world by the presence of Qoam. Everyone has gained much knowledge thanks to their discoveries.

When Magista understood that they may be able to create what would later become the artefact, they pitched the idea to the other Guilds to gain funding for the research. Only one was able to understand its importance and contributed.

The Magista fund expeditions because they believe that proximity to the Henakor could bring breakthroughs to their experiments and, deep inside, they are also just curious to discover the wonders of new lands.
