Miniatures
The Weybit
Arrived on Faeriell from far away, the Weybits quickly learned how to live in harmony with the environment of Faeriell and forged a sincere alliance with the Great Guardians.
These tiny and industrious humanoids live grouped in Tribes and each tribe has its own heroes: adventurers, shamans, druids, chieftains.
The extraordinary skills of each Hero type are enhanced by the Tribe Mask they wear. Each colour provides a different specialization.
The mask miniatures are made of soft, flexible plastic and can be plugged to the hard-plastic miniatures of the Weybits.
Weybits are the only inhabitants of Faeriell that seem to be able to constrain Corruption, though they are also the most likely to fall for its bait.
In fact, during the game a player can choose to change its winning condition, taking the Corruption side against other players and wearing the Corruption Sower mask.
The Great Guardians
The Great Guardians are the only inhabitants of Faeriell since the most remote times. They are indeed the Sons of Faeriell, an emanation of the land itself and one with the enchanted roots of this world. Indeed they are the only allies of the Weybits against the Corruption.
There are 8 Great Guardians, each of them has the aspect of a giant animal and a different personality: Jagapi the dreamer Owl, Koos the Golden Stag, Kuri the rumbling Boar, Lanu the quiet Wolf, Rhudo the wandering Bear, Rablo the cunning Toad, Suba the singing Snake, Noka the nodding Turtle.
Dornog the Spider
Unlike the Great Guardians, Dornog is a creature of corruption and it will do anything in its power to spread darkness across Faeriell.
This Spider comes into play to increase the difficulty of constraining Corruption, by altering the balance of Regions where it is placed.
SPOOKY ROOT
Spooky Root is another creature of the Corruption, its presence alone in a region means that terrible events are going to happen there.
This monster brings into the game another way for the Corruption to prosper, thus meaning an increasing challenge for the players.
THE DRIFTER
Plotwist: The mastermind behind the corruption is… an evil Weybit!
During the kickstarter campaign we involved our supporters in the creation of a story through a Twitter-ature game. The Drifter was put into play right after reading the ideas of the game participants. Of course this evil creature will affect the gameplay with additional rules.
