The game takes place in the verdant regions of Faeriell, inhabited by the most incredible and colorful variety of life. The eight Great Guardians, ancient and gigantic animals inherently bound to the roots of the land, are watching over the balance of its lush nature since the dawn of time.

One day, a population of tiny humanoids called Weybits made their appearance, quickly learning  how to live in harmony with the environment. A sincere and spontaneous alliance was forged between the new and the older Sons of Faeriell, and it turned out to be a blessing, for the harsh times that were about to come. All of a sudden, Corruption started to spread, a dark force endangering the Great Guardians and nature under their custody.

Players guide different Tribes of Weybits in the pursuit of their many goals, while Corruption is rising, altering the peace of their wondrous world. Weybits will get their chance to prove themselves: they are the only ones who can fight back this silent enemy, but they can also succumb to its enticing bait.

The end of this story will be all in your hands.

The adventure begins

Every Tribe of Weybits has their Heroes, individuals of remarkable talents and courage. The main task of the Weybit Heroes is to help the Great Guardians, who are set at risk by the menace of Corruption. Along with that, each Weybit Hero puts all their effort to bring glory to their Tribe by pursuing different Achievements.

Weybit Heroes are ready to go when they put on their Tribe Masks, unique items which enhance their extraordinary abilities. They will get more and more efficient, while their tribe grows and their settlements are improved.

There are many ways a Weybit Tribe can best the others, but all their efforts can be nullified by the rise of Corruption. Weybits need to cooperate against this threat, otherwise the whole land of Faeriell will be doomed.

The alternative ending

Corruption offers a tempting bait to players, and when the events turn in dangerous directions, hard choices have to be made.

Every time the game events increase the danger for the land of Faeriell, a player has to decide whether or not to intervene. If they don’t, their Tribe gets more and more corrupted. They can try to heal from this condition, but there is also the possibility to give up and change sides, since Corruption can give some considerable advantages to the weakest.

Playing on the side of Corruption adds a new thrill to the game. The first player to take this risky path adds a new, unique character to their Tribe: the Corruption Sower, the one that plants the bad seeds and harvests their dark gifts.

The Corrupted Tribe can win the game only in the event all other players lose to Corruption.

Miniatures and Tribe Masks

There are four Weybit miniatures for each playable Tribe, designed to wear a very special feature of this game, the Tribe Masks

Tribe Masks are shaped to perfectly fit a Weybit miniature head. There are four kinds of Masks, one for each Tribe, and their color determines a different specialization for the wearer.

Adventurers wear red, the colour associated with mountains. Shamans wear blue, the colour associated with rivers. Druids wear Green, the colour associated with forest. Chieftains wear yellow, the colour associated with meadows.

One special dark Mask is what identifies the Corruption Sower, and it is not tuned to any territory, since Corruption can grow anywhere. When a Tribe is corrupted, one of their Weybit Heroes will remove their own mask and dress as the Corruption Sower, thus marking the change caused by Corruption.

Lore

The astounding continent of Faeriell is an unspoiled and virgin land, dominated by lush nature.

Amazing places give shelter to the most incredible variety of life. Plains, lakes, mountains and forests are the homeland of animals and plants of every kind, in a territory characterized by magnificent wilderness and breathtaking views.

Each element is in perfect balance with the surrounding environment, and this harmony is the essence of Faeriell, the power of the land itself to generate life and connect everything together.

Along with fauna and flora filling every spot with their delightful colours, flavours and sounds, the Great Guardians were the only inhabitants of Faeriell since the most remote times. These gigantic and solitary animals of different species are easily recognizable because of their size: they are huge. Even though they share looks and behavior with wild animals, they are creatures of a whole different kind. Wherever they go, they intensify the essence of Faeriell, for the benefit of all the living nature around.

Just like an eagle has the instinct to fly, the silent and peaceful Great Guardians have the inner impulse to preserve order and natural balance in their territory: they are the Sons of Faeriell, one with the enchanted roots of this world.
